Studying during Pandemic? Challenge Accepted!

Everyone finds it challenging to study during a pandemic. It is challenging to study while everyone is afflicted by illness, crises, and natural disasters. And studying alone is more difficult. I feel fortunate and content that I was able to learn a lot about the topic in the past lessons and the past years, not just from the subject but through experiences too.

While being a student during the pandemic is extremely hard, COVID-19 affects everyone, not just students. It has affected so many aspects of our lives. Everything has halted globally. Projects have been postponed, businesses have shut down, and schools have closed. I suffered a great deal from the shutdown of schools brought on by the spreading pandemic, just like many other students. However, we students continue our education through online classes, Google meetings with our teachers, and the modular learning modality. For the majority of us, adjusting during the pandemic has been challenging since so many things have changed. As it is difficult for me and for us to conduct self-study if we are in a modular education system, it is difficult for me and for us students to adjust to the new normal in school. it's challenging to understand the concepts, even when taking online programs. Some of us lack access to the internet or technological tools necessary for our studies. Some of us struggle to understand the lessons because we are unable to personally ask for explanations. And the state of many of us' mental health has gotten worse.

I coped with those problems by learning how to manage my time and having the self-discipline to complete my own assignments as a student who is enrolled in a modular course format. I overcame those trials by trusting myself and praying to God. I overcame those challenges by persevering and having self-confidence. There is always a way to overcome life's trials, so let's not give up. Just like Sherrilyn Kenyon said, "Life isn't finding shelter in the storm. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
