Chapter 1: Internet

The first quarter went by quite quickly. This quarter was not easy, but it was not difficult either. This quarter has been really beneficial to me; it has given me many new things to learn and lessons to use, like the history, uses, and services and tools of the Internet.

I also learned who the software pioneers are, the Internet architects, and the Philippine Internet pioneers. I also learned about the main components of the internet, how web services and browsers work together, the parts of a web browser, data types, how the WWW works, and the parts of an URL. I also came to learn how to make a blog, the types of blogs, as well as the history and origin of blogs. I also learned about the search engine, the top 5 search engines, and the types of search terms.

The problem or challenge I encounter is difficulty managing my time. I often procrastinate, and on top of that, I'm not good at managing my time with all the assignments and tests I have. For example, I don't know how much time I have for each topic or how to divide my time so that I can complete all of my requirements. I deal with these issues by preparing a schedule or a plan for how many hours I will devote to each requirement, by doing my tasks as soon as they are assigned so that I don't have to think about them, and by taking care of my other academic duties when I have spare time. I am disciplining myself as well.

Moving on, I'll give the upcoming quarter everything I've got. And I'm expecting that the upcoming quarter will teach me a lot, just like this one did. And instead of viewing the upcoming quarter as a difficult subject, I will approach it as a challenging subject.
